4. Not so fast – It is impossible for you to pick up 20kg of weight within a month. It is therefor just as impossible to lose that much in a month. Rather focus on losing weight slowly but surely. Get the emphasis right; you are going to lose weight once and for all; so make sure that you learn to understand your body and its requirements while you are on the diet.

5. Get moving – Our bodies were never designed to move at 120km per hour but yet in our world of convenience we seem to implement structures to spoil us with more ease and convenience. You need at least 1.7L of water daily and the best way to drink water is with a water bottle sipping every 15minutes ensuring that your body stays hydrated. 8. Enjoy it – nobody will see anything to the end if they hate what they are doing! See your weight loss program not as punishment but rather as an exciting expedition. An expedition where you are going to learn to buy and try new foods, where you are going to have fun trying to do aqua aerobics whilst you can’t swim and so.

9. Lastly find support – It has been proven that people in a weight loss support group is far more successful than those that try to suffer on their own. Within a support group, especially one that focus on nutrition teaching, you can quickly find answers, gain the support and encouragement from others and share your success. Most of all you will be able to share your experiences with others and so have the joy of helping somebody else!
